Who is RadWallet for?
Anyone who wants to keep their own medical images. Someone living with a condition that means regular scans. A person keeping a parent’s or a child’s imaging together. Or anyone tired of storing CDs in a drawer and hoping they still work. It’s the same secure storage clinics use, sized and priced for one person.
How do my images get in?
You upload them. CDs, DVDs, thumb drives, and anything you’ve downloaded from a hospital website all work. RadWallet opens the packed and password-protected discs most home viewers can’t, then sorts everything into scans you can browse by date.
What if my disc is locked or won’t open?
That’s exactly what RadWallet was built for. Password-protected discs — the ones that fail in every free viewer you’ve tried — are unlocked automatically when you upload them. If one still won’t open, send it to us and we’ll look at it ourselves.
Why do my older scans matter?
Because a radiologist reads today’s scan against yesterday’s. Whether something changed, and how fast, is often the whole answer. That comparison is impossible if the older scan is on a disc in a drawer or in an archive three states away, so keeping them together is the single most useful thing you can do with your imaging.
Can a doctor see my scans in an emergency?
If they can open a browser, yes. Send a secure link from your phone and the doctor or the emergency room opens the scan right there — no account, no software, no records request. You decide how long that link works, and you can shut it off afterward.
Can I share a scan with my doctor?
Yes. Send them a secure link and they can view it in their browser. They don’t need an account, you choose how long the link lasts, and you can turn it off at any time.
Is my data private and secure?
Your images sit in the same secure, health-grade storage hospitals trust us with — encrypted the whole time, both while it travels and while it sits, with every view recorded. Nothing is sold or mined, and only you decide who sees it.
Can I keep scans for my whole family?
Family plans are on the way. For now, one RadWallet holds one person’s images. If you’re keeping scans for a parent, a partner, or a child, say so on the early-access form — that’s how we decide what to build first.
Does RadWallet tell me what my scans mean?
No. That’s your radiologist’s job, and your doctor’s. What RadWallet does is make sure you always have the images, and that whoever needs to read them can.
